Default Option to Turn Off Skill Descriptions

I find the skill descrptions to be a big annoyance. The "huge" text boxes interfere with any attempt at a decent interface setup. It's practically impossible to have the Party Box above the skill box because it gets partially covered up when hovering over skills, which is a big pain for a monk. Not only that, anyone playing on a regular basis already knows their skills and don't require this annoying feature.

So, I hope that Anet would consider adding a checkbox in the Customize Interface to allow turning off the Skill Descriptions. Since Skill Descriptions are like Hints, maybe couple it with that option.

Well, if you haven't modified your original interface setup, it isn't that bad. But if you tweak your interface to put all pertinent info in one area of the screen, I think you'd find it more bothersome.

Why are you hovering over skills in the first place? Especially as a monk? That's what the numbers on your keyboard are for.

well...sometimes u have to heal so quick that when u use 8 buttons its real easy to make mistakes so most only use the 1 2 3 4 buttons and do the rest with the mouse so the chance that they press a wrong skill is very small.

I would like that option very much to...ive been playing the game for 8 months now and i realy dont need descriptions for skills anymore...i can almost dream them. it was great when i first started playing the game but now they are bloody anoying.

/agreed

I would appreciate the option to turn them off - they interfere with my party window.

But, as was said, monking is best using the keyboard and not mouse.
